Travel & Leisure Magazine has just announced that, once again, their readers have voted Singapore Airlines as the world’s #1 international airline.  Emirates is #2 and Virgin Atlantic is #3.  

Singapore Airlines has won the top spot almost every year for more than 20 years. Their commitment to creating the right culture, hiring and training people with the right talent and attitude and supporting them with policies and process that put the customer first, makes them unbeatable. 

What are you doing in your business to be the preferred supplier to your target customers?  Then, what are you doing to get that message out?  ‘First, you get good…and then you brag.’  That’s how it’s supposed to work.

A few days ago I spent some time coaching a Heating and Air Conditioning Contractor who had won the Reader’s Choice Award in his community for the past 6 years, but he had nothing on his website, his marketing brochures or his trucks to say that.  He had done the work to be the best…and then kept it a secret.  This is nuts.

So, what will you commit to do to be the #1 ‘wise choice’ for your target customers…and how will you then communicate that?
